Tips to eat more green in hotels and home

Vegan Hotel

Lifestyle habits turn into green while traveling!

In response to our own health, ecological concerns and animal welfare, more people are adopting a flexitarian*, vegetarian or vegan lifestyle, even while traveling.

Some basics knowledge are required in order to intake enough protein, fiber, potassium, vitamins, calcium and iron, which could be achieve by eating the variety of foods, including seasonal fruits, vegetables, plenty of leafy greens, whole grain products, nuts, seeds, and legumes.

We should pay attention to protein: Every time legumes like beans, lentils, and peanuts are combined with grains like wheat, rice, and corn, a complete protein is born. So, we should ensure to respect the formula every day (not meal) to be strong and smart.

Legumes: beans, lentils, soy…+ Cereal: wheat, rice, corns…= Complete Protein!

*Flexitarian is plant-based with the occasional inclusion of meat products, for example, adopt vegetarian lifestyle at home and occasionally have meat intake in restaurant with colleagues or friends.
