IT’S ABOUT FOOD, AIR, ART, ARCHITECTURE, AND THE WAY OF LIVING !

France is the most popular tourist destination in the world. It is visited by more than 80 millions international tourists per year. For most of the tourists, Paris is the first stop. However, apart from Paris, the country has plenty of charming villages, where we could discover genuine french culture and extraordinary french cuisine.

Roussillon, in Provence, is situated in the heart of the biggest ochre deposit in Europe. The village is famous for its astonishing palette of flaming colors. We walk through ochre cliffs, extraordinary “structures” seemingly painted in every shade of yellow, orange and brown. Tips 😉 : do not wear white shoes as the ochre will re-colour them!

Roussillon lies within the borders of the Parc Naturel Régional du Luberon and offers magnificent views over Mont Ventoux, Mont Blanc, the Luberon Valley and Gordes. In French natural regional parks, new economic activities may be developed only if they are sustainable! 🙂
